Growing up in Denver, Colorado, at age eight I witnessed my dog Blackie being hit and killed by an out of control car in my front yard. I decided then to dedicate my life to helping family pets. My wife, Nancy, our four children, and I moved to Temecula in 1991 where we established our small animal and exotic practice. Dante and Amelie, our two cats, now run our lives! We enjoy visits from our “grand pets” Lola the dog and Emmett the pig, as well as our “real” grandchildren. I am thankful to be part of the talented and dedicated team that share the same passion for animals and for providing the best veterinary care. I am honored to serve our clientele and their beloved pets. Welcome to Care Animal Hospital!

A lifelong fascination with animals and a longstanding passion for science and health made my path into the field of veterinary medicine an obvious one. From humble beginnings working as an assistant at the animal clinic in my small hometown in Michigan through my time at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, I have been very fortunate to gain experience with a diversity of animals from dogs and cats to exotics and wildlife.

After earning my degree from MSU, I waved goodbye to the Great Lakes and made the long journey across the country to the sunshine of southern California. While not at the hospital, I enjoy getting outside and hiking, birding, or spending time at the beach with my fiancée and our Australian shepherd mix, Lucky.

I am thrilled to be a part of the excellent team here at Care Animal Hospital and look forward to helping the people and animals of the Temecula community!

As a young girl growing up in Canada I have always had a love for animals, both domestic and wild. Every summer my family and I would go to my Uncles’ cabin in Northern Ontario for several weeks. While there, I enjoyed watching the variety of wildlife that were native to that area.

My hope was to someday work in the animal field. I started my career as an Officer for the San Diego County Department of Animal Control and then got the opportunity to work for Care Animal Hospital in 1998. I share my home with Maurice, my cat Jolie, a.k.a. Miss Priss and my Cockatoo, Angel.

My years of working at Care Animal Hospital have been a very rewarding and challenging experience with an amazing group of team members.

Animals have always been my passion, and growing up I knew I wanted to commit my life to helping them.

I am currently going to school to get my degree in zoology and hope to one day specialize to work with lions. I am owned by two rescue pitbulls: Denver and Ellie.

I am so thankful to be a part of the Care Animal Hospital family and I enjoy getting to work with the large variety of animals we see here on a daily basis.

Lauren, RVT

and her friend, Ella.

From a young age, working with animals was always something I was passionate about and knew I wanted to pursue it as a career somehow. I have been working in the veterinary field since high school, and prior to moving to Temecula and joining the Care Animal Hospital family, I spent over 6 years with a great veterinary team in San Diego.

In 2013, I became a Registered Veterinary Technician and I am now working to specialize in veterinary dentistry.

I share my home with my three dogs: a lab mix named Logan and two Yorkies named Jake and Koda. I also have a tabby cat named Thomas, a Russian Blue named Belle, and my sweet, newly rescued kitten, Ella.

The fast-paced work environment and constant variety of animals and wildlife makes every day exciting. I am so grateful to be a part of such an amazing team.

I started my career in the veterinary field in 1996 as a kennel assistant. Within 2 years of dedicated hard work and a sincere thirst for knowledge, I became a full veterinary technician. Since then, I’ve spent time in all different types of practices from small to large and 24 hour emergency, collecting as much knowledge as possible.

As a child, I spent most of my time trying to understand and help animals, from my own dear pets to the wild life surrounding my home.

I fully believe that God has placed this passion in my heart and blessed me with becoming part of the “Care family.” I strongly feel I’ve finally found a place to call home and where they all really do Care.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with animals. As a child I had three horses named Razz, Twinkie, and Frolic who were part of my inspiration to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

I have always had a love for animals and I am currently going to school to get my degree and become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

I share my home with my two lovable fur-babies: Zoey, a 20 year old domestic shorthair; and Noah, a rambunctious, 3 month old domestic medium hair. My recent move to Murrieta brought me to Care Animal Hospital and I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team.

Since I was young I have always had a love for all types of animals, but it was not until I started working at Care Animal Hospital that I knew I wanted to pursue a career in this field.

It has been such a great experience seeing a wide variety of animals each day, and assisting in caring for them is very rewarding. I enjoy working alongside the rest of our staff and hope I can take what I learn and become a veterinary technician.

I currently live with my two kitties Flynn and Nala, and hope to adopt more animals needing homes in the future.
