Providing the best veterinary care for the needs of dogs and cats is the sole focus of the team, whether that be a routine first-time checkup, shots, immunizations, or a dental procedure or surgery.
We lead a team of professional veterinary care specialists who show compassion and respect to furry friends and clients in Temecula.
Our Services
A vet will provide health checks and examinations to help prevent future illnesses and answer all of your questions. It is critical to check your dog’s health throughout its life stages, especially when they are young puppies.
Even if your pet is healthy and shows no signs of illness, we recommend a health check-up at least once or twice a year.
Dr. Alcorn and Dr. Flock recommend that if your pet gets a blood test, they should not eat any food prior to the examination. By doing this, we ensure the food doesn’t alter or skew the blood test results.
Dental health is vital to any animal. Taking care of your family pet’s teeth through regular dentist visits is an example of this type of care.
Please call us today to learn more about our promotions and schedule your pet’s dental cleaning.
At our hospital, we care for a wide range of exotic pets, including ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, frogs, salamanders, and reptiles. If you own one of these animals, our vets can provide the necessary medical attention and expert care they need.
In case of emergency, our doctors are ready to give immediate care and services to your pet. Dr. Alcorn and Dr. Flock will provide multiple examinations and, if needed, an urgent surgical treatment.
In these cases, a family needs to act quickly. This is why we are prepared to receive your call at any hour we are available, treating dogs and cats with emergency care.
A vet from our expert team can also provide urgent surgical procedures for a pet’s injury or illness caused by bleeding, a tumor, or a broken bone. There are also elective surgeries such as spaying, neutering, and debarking.
In any case, we’ll give your pet the best veterinary care possible, ensuring their well-being as well as your peace of mind.
If your pet is injured or ill, it might need an examination with digital X-rays. This is a practice often done before surgery to get a clear diagnosis and treatment for your pet. Our veterinary services provide current technology to ensure the best care.
Let a knowledgeable and compassionate vet develop the proper vaccination program for your cat or dog. We also offer the RHDV2 vaccine to combat the highly contagious virus infecting wild and domestic rabbits and hares.
At Care Animal Hospital, our veterinarians offer clients a wide variety of services, such as anesthesia, endoscopy, declaw, debark, ultrasounds, and laboratory work. Whatever animals need, a qualified vet will provide the best veterinary care.

Care Animal Hospital Now Carries the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Vaccine for Your Pet Rabbits!
RHDV2 is a highly contagious virus that infects wild and domestic rabbits and hares. The virus damages the liver leading to internal bleeding. The disease caused by the virus, simply called rabbit hemorrhagic disease (RHD), may kill up to 80% of infected animals. Due to the confirmed number of species already infected by the disease, it should be assumed that all rabbit and hare species in the United States are susceptible to RHDV2. Importantly, RHDV2 does not impact human health. Click here for more info.
